Sometimes, a great photo is all about the Decisive Moment. In his work, Oslo-based photographer Pau Buscató illustrates exactly what it means. He takes photos in the streets of different cities, capturing amazing, once-in-a-lifetime coincidences. With a great eye for details and perfect timing, Pau creates amusing photos you don’t see every day.
Pau was born in Barcelona but he is currently based in Oslo, where he moved in 2009. Despite living in Norway for nine years now, he takes photos in cities all over the world: London, New York, and his hometown Barcelona being only some of them.
The project Pau named Hopscotch is a result of four years of street photography. As he tells Colossal, he likes to work in street photography in a way that isn’t very project-friendly. The artist explains that he doesn’t like to narrow his vision down to a certain theme, but he rather stays open to anything that he might find interesting.
