Advertisements The Student contest gathers ten students at leading international higher education institutions. They were invited to submit a series of five to ten images interpreting this year’s brief, Connections. According to the contest representative, the shortlisted entries have each been chosen for their “nuanced and intelligent responses to this brief.”
As for the Youth contest, the shortlist features seven category winners from June to December 2021, who each responded to a different monthly theme. Among this year’s shortlists, there are youngsters between the ages of 15 and 19. Take a look at the remaining images below. Stay tuned, as the winners of Student Photographer of the Year and Youth Photographer of the Year will be announced on 12 April 2022.
