Mobile Photography Awards is one of those contests which prove that you can take a stunning photo even with just your smartphone. The winners of the 2020 contest have been announced, showing some of the best, most intriguing, and most interesting shots people took with their phone cameras.
The contest celebrates an important milestone, considering that this was the 10th year in a row that it selected the best mobile shots. I believe it was interesting for the judges to observe how smartphone cameras and photos have improved in quality over the past decade. But it’s the story that counts, and the winners sure captured some wonderful photo stories in their winning shots.
For the 2020 contest, there were over 5,700 submitted photos from more than 75 countries. The grand prize winner and MPA Photographer of the Year 2020 is Dan Liu from China, who received a cash prize of $3,000. The jury also selected winners in 20 categories, and each of them is beautiful in its own way. You can take a look at more photos below. The 2021 contest is now open, and you can register and submit your photos here.
