First, let’s have a look at the specs:

So, not much change in terms of brightness, and zero change in form factor, but….. Color temp is now 5,800 (measured, or 5,700 spec’ed) which for all intents and purposes is close enough for the “standard” 5,600K. And unless you are a stickler for white balance it’s definitely good enough. The other nice change is the CRI, went from not-so-amazing sub 80 to 90 (by spec) or 93 (by our measurements). Take this and combine it with the 16-LED hot-spot-free design and you have a light that is pretty awesome for video.
